Strength & Conditioning Programs

Are you looking to increase the speed of your skating? Are you tired of being beat to the puck? Do you want to be a dominant player on the ice? Do you want to recover faster after each shift? If you find yourself asking these questions then Compton Sports Training Systems is the answer.

Compton Sports Training Systems (CSTS) provides athletic development programs to athletes of all shapes and sizes. CSTS consults and trains athletes, coaches, teams, and associations at the amateur, provincial, national, Olympic and professional levels. Within the Strength and Conditioning programs, CSTS offers: ADA (the Athletic Development Academy), gym memberships, fitness testing, personalized programs, team training, summer hockey programs, pro-athlete development, and executive athletic daytime programs.
 
CSTS' elite 13 week Athletic Development Academy (ADA) includes training systems that are specifically designed to work of key aspects of hockey performance. Athletes will be put through exercise routines that focus on speed, explosive power, agility, balance, reaction time, coordination and core strength.
 
Students begin the program with a sit down session to discuss goal setting and what it takes to achieve your dreams. Athletes are videotaped on-ice early in the program. Leading edge technology is employed to measure sport specific strengths and weaknesses. Pre and post fitness testing shows the progress they have made throughout the 13 week ADA. All activities are logged.
 
At Compton Sports Training Systems we feel that the development of life skills is a major part of developing a well balanced athlete. Our program is not only about developing explosive power, but also imparts core values, life skills, leadership, character building, nutrition, academics and other challenges young men and women face as they grow up and become more exposed to competitive sports. Accordingly, we review your son or daughter’s most recent report card and discuss the importance of good grades. Our routines are designed to help kids understand the importance of overcoming adversity and battling through great odds.
